Generally, before installation, the surrounding environment should be kept clean, the position and size of anchor bolt holes should be correct, and the center line, elevation line and horizontal line should be marked.
Generator installation and inspection:
1. The coupling of alternator and diesel generator requires that the parallelism and concentricity of the coupling are less than 0.05mm. In actual use, the requirement can be slightly lower, about 0.1mm, too large back will affect the normal operation of the bearing, leading to damage. Retest coupling before installation.
2. Sliding bearing of the generator in the coupling, the height of the center of generator to adjust your diesel engine to center, so the weight of the flywheel on the diesel engine will not have transferred to the generator bearing, or generator bearing would be additional to bear the weight of the flywheel, not conducive to the formation of the sliding bearing oil film, cause fever, even burning bearing. The couplings of this type of generator should also not carry any heavy weight.
3. When installing the generator, it is necessary to ensure that the cooling air inlet is unimpeded, and to avoid the hot air discharged from the generator. If there are shutters on the ventilation cover, the window should be downward to meet the requirements of the protection level.
4. The mechanical coupling of single bearing generator should pay special attention to the air gap between stator and rotor to be uniform.
5. According to the schematic diagram or wiring diagram, choose the appropriate power cable, with copper connector to connect, copper connector and busbar, busbar and busbar fixed, the local gap at the junction is not more than 0.05mm, the distance between the wire is not more than 10mm, but also need to install the necessary ground wire.
What should be checked before using the generator set:
1. Check whether the flywheel and generator part of the anti-railing cover are intact;
2. Check the transmission, clutch, governor, oil level, fasteners, etc., confirm that they are in good condition, and the oil-water temperature is not lower than 20 degrees before starting;
3. Set the piping gate of each system in the “working” position;
4. Check the transmission mechanism of the link bolt, and tighten;
5. Check whether the clutch handle pressure is normal and whether the overspeed safety device is positioned;
6. Check whether the pressure of gas storage cylinder is normal and whether the overspeed safety device is positioned;
7. Open the blowdown valve of the air pump.
