Two, the radiator after damage inspection
When the radiator leaks, clean the radiator and check for water leakage. Check, in addition to leaving a water inlet or outlet, the rest of the mouth all blocked, put the radiator into the water, and then use the air pump or high pressure cylinder from the inlet or outlet into about 0.5kg/cm2 compressed air, if found bubbles, it shows that there are cracks or damage.
Three, the repair of the radiator
1. Before the repair of the radiator and the sewer room, clean the leaking part, remove the metal paint and rust thoroughly with a metal brush or scraper, and then repair with solder. If there is a large area of water leakage in the fixing screw part of the upper and lower water chamber, the upper and lower water chamber can be removed, and then two water chambers of appropriate size can be made again. Before assembly, the sealant should be coated with adhesive or sealant on and below the sealing pad, and then fixed with screws.
2. The repair of radiator water pipe if the outer water pipe of radiator is damaged is small, can use tin welding to undertake repairing commonly. If the damage is large, the two sides of the damaged pipe can be clamped with needle-nose pliers to make it watertight. But the number of blocked water pipes should not be too much; Otherwise, the heat dissipation effect of the radiator will be affected. If the internal water pipes of the radiator are damaged, remove the upper and lower water chambers and replace or weld the water refill pipes. After assembly, the radiator should be checked for water leakage.
