The cause of radiator leakage in diesel generator cooling system
The main reasons are: in the work, the fan blade is broken or tilted, the radiator hot water pipe is damaged; The radiator is not firmly fixed on the support, the vibration is damaged when working, the radiator is damaged; In winter, radiator pipes freeze and break in the presence of water; The magazine in the cooling water forms scale in the radiator pipe, leading to wall corrosion and rupture.
Check for leaks
Usually, after cleaning the radiator, check for leaks. The following two methods can be used to check.
1) Plug the radiator inlet and outlet, install the connector from the overflow pipe or drain plug, and insert 0. 15 ~ 0. 30kgf/cm2 of compressed air, put the radiator into the pool. If there is a bubble, it will be the place to break.
2) Check irrigation methods. When checking, plug in the inlet and outlet of the radiator, and inject water from the injection port, and observe whether it leaks. In order to find small cracks, you can apply certain pressure to the radiator or make a radiator. Shake it a little, and then look carefully. There is water seepage in the leak.
