I. Analysis of the main reasons for the damage of PARkins generator AVR:

The AVR circuit of the generator voltage regulator consists of three parts: the main rectifier circuit, the voltage detection circuit and the comparison control circuit. Excluding the possibility of damage caused by the quality of the original electrical components, in the whole AVR circuit, the operating frequency of the main circuit and the comparative control circuit changes the most; The rectifier bridge of the main circuit and the transistor in the comparison circuit change more frequently, and their damage ratio accounts for more than 90% of the damage rate of the whole AVR. Since the AVR on the imported generator is a non-disassembly and repair part, it is necessary to replace it if it is damaged, so we mainly analyze the reasons for the damage of AVR on the generator. It is most important to avoid the damage of AVR as far as possible. As long as it is properly used, the service life of AVR can be improved.

(1) The more stable the generator voltage is, the smaller the variable frequency in AVR is; The smaller the switching action of the transistor in the comparison circuit, the smaller the probability of AVR damage;

(2) The output load is relatively stable, the smaller the variable frequency in the AVR, the smaller the switching action of the transistor in the comparison circuit, the smaller the probability of AVR damage;

(3) The more stable the speed of diesel engine is, the less the oscillatory impact of changing current on AVR is;

(4) Frequent “traveling” and excessive load, three-phase load difference is the most important cause of AVR damage;

(5) Select the generator set with E, F and C fuel systems, because the frequency change is small, the use of AVR will be more reliable.

II. Emergency power use measures after generator AVR is damaged:

Although the generator AVR is a non-wearing part, it is abnormally damaged due to various reasons. Under the condition that all parts from the engine to the generator are in good condition, we can adopt temporary emergency measures to solve the problem of urgently needing electricity when the power cannot be generated due to AVR damage.

(1) Cancel AVR plate and only use F1 and F2 as temporary excitation input terminal;

(2) With the help of the battery of the generator, add an excitation switch and 5W and 5K ovariostat. When it is not in operation state, let the switch be in the closed state. Turn on the switch after the engine reaches the rated speed to establish the voltage and adjust the rheostat to set the voltage at about 420V; If there is a voltage regulator on the control panel of the generator, it is temporarily used to stabilize the voltage by modifying the wiring.

(3) Not all states can use the above method of power supply, objective existence must meet the following conditions to meet the use requirements: A, load ≤70%; B. Load ≤20%;

(4) This method should pay attention to whether the charging performance of the charger is good. If the charger can not be charged, add another 24V transformer of more than 20A, and use the battery in parallel after the whole, otherwise the battery will soon run out of electricity.
