Causes of generator overheating include:
1.Temperature sensor failure, false water temperature is too high.

3. The water pump is suddenly damaged and the coolant stops circulating.
4.The fan belt is broken or the belt pulley tensioning support is loose.
5.The fan belt is off or damaged.
6.The cooling system is seriously leaking.
7. The radiator is frozen and blocked.
Diagnosis and treatment methods:
1.First observe whether there is a large amount of water leakage outside the engine. If there is dripping water in the drain switch, water pipe joint, water tank, etc., if there is, it should be handled in time.
2. Observe whether the belt is broken. If the belt is broken, it should be replaced in time and tightened.
3. Check whether the water temperature sensor and water temperature meter are damaged, if damaged, replace it.
4.Check whether the exhaust pipe of the engine and water tank is blocked and dredged.
5. If there is no water leakage inside and outside the engine and the belt transmission is normal, the circulating pressure of the coolant should be checked and repaired according to the “boiling pot” fault mentioned above.
6. Radiator icing generally occurs in the cold season after the cold start or down the long slope flameout sliding. If the speed is high after starting, and the fan is strong, so that the lower part of the radiator that has just added cold water freezes, after the temperature of the standby engine rises, the coolant can not be circulated and produce overheating or rapid boiling. At this time, measures should be taken to keep the radiator warm to reduce the air volume of the fan, or heat the frozen part of the radiator to promote the ice to dissolve quickly. When the car down the long slope radiator frozen, should stop immediately, idle running warm car.
Note when using: choose the windward or shady place to stop immediately, open the engine cover, keep the engine idle, so that the temperature gradually reduced, do not stop immediately. If the engine flameout after difficult to start, should try to make the crankshaft slow rotation, prevent high temperature piston and cylinder wall bonding. In the process of cooling, do not rush to open the radiator cover or expansion box cover. When opening the cover, pay attention to safety to prevent high-temperature water or steam from spouting and scalding. If the water consumption is too much, should be timely supplemented with appropriate soft water.
