2. The insulation resistance and absorption ratio of stator and excitation loop should be measured before using the generator that is newly installed, overdone or stopped for more than 10 days. The insulation resistance of stator should not be less than 30% of the last measured value, the insulation resistance of excitation loop should not be less than 05M ω, and the absorption ratio should not be less than L3.
3. Check the driving part of the internal combustion engine and generator before operation. The connection should be reliable, the lead of the output line is well insulated, and all instruments are complete and effective.
4. Put the resistance value of the excitation rheostat on the maximum position before starting, and then cut off the main power supply output switch and engage the neutral ground switch. The unit with clutch should start the internal combustion engine in no-load operation first, and then engage the generator after it is normal.
5. After starting, check that the generator should have no noise during the speed increase, and the brush on the slip ring and commutator is in good contact with no jumping and sparking phenomenon. Only when the operation is stable and the frequency and voltage reach the rated value can the power supply be supplied externally. Load should be gradually increased, three corresponding warranty balance.
6. All electrical equipment shall be considered live once the generator is in operation.
7. If the generator voltage is too low, it will have a negative impact on the operation of load (such as electric equipment) and the operation of the engine itself, and will also affect the stability of grid-connected operation; Too high voltage will not only affect the safe operation of electrical equipment, but also affect the service life of generators. Therefore, the maximum and minimum allowable voltage values for continuous operation of the generator shall not exceed ±10% of the rated value. The normal operation of the voltage range should be within ±5% of the rated value, beyond this specified value should be adjusted, power just with the rated value, the rated capacity of the generator should remain unchanged.
8. When the generator set runs at high frequency, it is easy to damage parts or even cause accidents. When the generator runs at too low frequency, it not only has adverse effects on the safety and efficiency of electrical equipment, but also can reduce the speed of the generator and increase the temperature of the stator and rotor coils. Therefore, when the rated frequency value of the generator is running, its variation range shall not exceed ±O5Hz.
9. The power factor of the generator shall not exceed late phase (lag) 095. If there is an automatic excitation adjustment device, it can operate under the condition of power factor 1, and it can operate within the range of late phase 095 ~ L for a short time if necessary.
10. During the operation of the generator, the indicator of each instrument and the normal operation of each part shall be checked and confirmed frequently, and the load of the generator shall be adjusted at any time. The stator and rotor current shall not exceed the allowable value.
11. Before stopping, cut off the main switch of each power supply branch to gradually reduce the load, then cut off the main switch of generator power supply, return the excitation rheostat to the position of maximum resistance to make the voltage drop to the lowest value, then cut off the excitation switch and neutral ground switch, and finally stop the operation of the internal combustion engine.
