(1) After cold start, the machine will run with load without heating

When the diesel engine cooler starts, due to the large oil viscosity and poor fluidity, the oil supply of the oil pump is insufficient. The friction surface of the machine is badly lubricate due to the lack of oil, resulting in sharp wear and tear, and even the occurrence of cylinder, burning tile and other faults. Therefore, the diesel engine should run at idle speed after cooling and heating up, and then run with load when the oil temperature reaches more than 40℃; The machine should start with a low speed gear, and drive for a certain distance in each gear step by step, until the oil temperature is normal and the oil supply is sufficient, it can turn to normal running.

(2) The diesel engine runs when the oil is insufficient

At this time, the lack of oil supply will cause the lack of oil supply on the surface of each friction pair, leading to abnormal wear or burn. To this end, the machine before starting and diesel engine operation process to ensure sufficient oil, to prevent the lack of oil caused by pulling cylinder, burning tile failure.

(3) Stop immediately after emergency stop with load or sudden load removal

After the diesel engine flameout cooling system water circulation stops, cooling capacity decreases sharply, the heating parts lose cooling, easy to cause the cylinder head, cylinder liner, cylinder block and other parts overheating, crack, or make the piston excessive expansion card in the cylinder liner. Therefore, the diesel engine should be unloaded before flameout, and gradually reduce the speed, no-load operation for a few minutes.

(4) The diesel engine starts violently after cold start

If the throttle is blasted, the speed of the diesel engine will rise sharply, causing some friction surface on the machine due to dry friction and severe wear. In addition, the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft acceptance force change when the throttle, cause violent impact, easy to damage parts.

(5) In the cooling water is insufficient or cooling water, oil temperature is too high under the condition of operation

Insufficient cooling water of diesel engine will reduce its cooling effect, and the diesel engine will overheat due to lack of effective cooling. Cooling water, oil temperature is too high, will also cause diesel engine overheating. At this time, the cylinder head, cylinder liner, piston assembly and valve and other main heating load, the mechanical properties such as strength, toughness and other sharp decline, so that the deformation of the parts increase, reduce the gap between the parts, accelerate the wear of parts, serious will also produce cracks, parts stuck fault. Too high temperature of cooling water and oil will accelerate aging, deterioration and burning of oil, and oil viscosity decreases, the condition lubrication conditions of cylinder, piston and main friction pair deteriorate, resulting in abnormal wear. Diesel engine overheating will also worsen the diesel engine combustion process, so that the fuel injector working abnormal, poor atomization, carbon accumulation.

(6) Operate under the condition of low temperature of cooling water and oil

During the working process of diesel engine, the temperature of cooling water is too low, and the temperature of cylinder wall decreases accordingly. The water vapor generated by combustion condenses into water droplets, and contacts with the exhaust gas to generate acidic substances, which are attached to the cylinder wall and produce corrosion and wear. Practice has proved that the diesel engine is often used in the cooling water temperature of 40℃~50℃, its parts wear than the normal operating temperature (85℃ ~ 95℃) is several times larger. At this time, when the water temperature is too low, the cylinder temperature is low, the diesel engine fire delay period is prolonged, once on fire, the pressure rises rapidly, the diesel engine fuel rough, easy to cause mechanical damage to parts. The diesel engine has been running for a long time under the condition of low temperature of cooling water, the gap between piston and cylinder liner is large, and the cylinder knocking phenomenon has occurred, and vibration has been generated, which makes the cylinder liner cavitation. The oil temperature is too low, the oil viscosity is large, the fluidity is poor, the lubrication part is insufficient, the lubrication is poor, the friction pair wear increases, and the service life of the diesel engine is shortened.

(7) Operate under the condition of low oil pressure

If the oil pressure is too low, the lubrication system can not carry out normal oil circulation and pressure lubrication, and the lubrication parts can not get enough oil. Therefore, the machine in the process of driving, should pay attention to observe the oil pressure gauge or oil pressure indicator. If the oil pressure is found to be lower than the stipulated pressure, stop the machine immediately and continue to drive after troubleshooting.

(8) The machine overspeeds and overloads

If the machine is seriously overspeed and overloading, the diesel engine will run under the working condition of too large load and too high speed, which is easy to cause rough work, heat load and mechanical load increase of cylinder liner, piston and connecting rod, and easy to occur cylinder pulling, burning tile and other failures. Often overload operation, resulting in a long time of rough combustion in the cylinder, easy to damage the cylinder pad.

(9) Blast the throttle before flameout

If the high-speed diesel engine suddenly stops running, its huge inertia will damage the parts of the crank connecting rod mechanism and the valve mechanism and shorten the service life. At the same time, slamming throttle is due to excessive fuel into the cylinder too late to completely burn and flow down the cylinder wall, diluting the lubricating oil. In addition, it will make the piston, valve and combustion chamber carbon accumulation significantly increase, causing nozzle blockage and piston plug stuck.

(10) The diesel engine suddenly adds cooling water when the temperature is too high

If the diesel engine in the case of water shortage and overheating suddenly add cooling water, will make the cylinder head, cylinder liner, cylinder block due to hot and cold drastic changes and cracks. Therefore, when the temperature of the diesel engine is too high, the load should be removed first, the speed should be slightly increased, the diesel engine will be turned off after the water temperature drops, and the water radiator cap is loosened to exclude water vapor. If necessary, cooling water can be slowly injected into the water radiator.

(11) Long-term idle operation

Diesel engine idle, lubricating oil pressure is low, the top of the piston injection cooling effect is poor, resulting in a sharp increase in wear, easy to pull cylinder; It can also cause poor atomization, incomplete combustion, serious carbon accumulation, and sometimes even lead to valve and piston ring stuck, cylinder liner cavitation. For this reason, some diesel engine operating instructions clearly stipulate that the idle running time of diesel engine shall not exceed 15 ~ 20min.
