1. Generally speaking, the water content in oil is 0. If water content is greater than 0, the reduction is 03%. At 1%, the additives in the lubricant (such as antioxidants, cleaning dispersants, etc.) will be ineffective due to water reaction, and the performance of the oil will be reduced.
2. Under the action of high temperature inside the engine, the oil and coolant react chemically, the oil will emulsify, and the lubrication of the oil will reduce a lot.
3. The oxidation resistance of oil is reduced, the organic acids produced by oil oxidation will react with water to produce inorganic acids, which will cause the corrosion of engine parts, leading to rust or damage of machine parts.
Three, the main cause of oil water.
1. The oil radiator is damaged and the oil enters the water.
When the radiator line is disconnected, water outside the radiator seeps into the oil radiator, causing the oil to enter the water.
2.The engine water plug leakage caused oil into the water.
After several years of engine use, due to meter corrosion, some water blocked the rust, causing cooling water from the channel into the oil channel, down to the oil pan. This is also common, so check the water block often.
3. Cylinder liner seal ring damage will lead to oil into the water.
The wet liner is in direct contact with the cooling water, and the sealing ring at the bottom of the liner can effectively prevent oil and cooling water leakage. In use, the sealing ring bears a certain pressure, and sometimes the poor cooling water quality causes corrosion. After long operation, the sealing ring is easy to fail.
The damage of the cylinder liner seal ring is the main reason for oil intake, so when checking the reason for oil intake, it must be remembered to check whether the cylinder liner seal is intact.
4. Cylinder rupture easily lead to oil into the water.
When the heating cylinder liner is in direct contact with the cooling water, it is easy to produce cracks. Once there are cracks, the cooling water will directly enter the cylinder and enter the oil pan through the cylinder wall, making the oil white, and the oil whitening will lead to poor combustion of the engine, white smoke and other problems.
Generally speaking, the cylinder liner is not easy to crack, unless there are improper maintenance and other problems, such as cold winter, cooling water is not filled with antifreeze caused by icing, this situation may lead to cracks in the cylinder liner. There are hot cylinder liner cooling water cooler and so on.
5. Cylinder rest damage leads to oil into the water.
The function of the engine gasket is to seal the oil cylinder of each cylinder and the corresponding channel and oil channel, so as to avoid oil intake. If the cylinder pad is damaged and the water circulates rapidly, water from the channel will flow into the oil channel, causing oil to enter the water.
Cylinder pad damage is also one of the important reasons for oil intake. After each disassembly of the machine, try to use a new cylinder pad to avoid oil pad leakage and engine damage.
