First, Perkins generator unit working principle
Diesel generator is a mechanical equipment that converts the chemical energy of diesel fuel into mechanical energy and then converts the mechanical energy into electric energy. Its power generation principle is to drive the crankshaft of diesel generator to rotate through other auxiliary power, so that the piston moves up and down at the top of the closed cylinder. When the piston moves from up to down, the intake valve of the cylinder is opened, and the outdoor air is filtered into the cylinder by the air filter device to complete the intake stroke.
When the piston moves from the bottom up, the cylinder inlet and exhaust valve is closed. Under the extrusion of the piston upward, the gas volume is rapidly compressed, resulting in the rapid rise of the temperature in the cylinder and the completion of the compression stroke. When the piston reaches the top, the fuel filtered by the oil filter device is atomized by the high-pressure nozzle, and the mixture of high temperature and high pressure air burns violently. At this time, the volume of the gas expands rapidly, pushing the piston to do work downward.
Each cylinder does work in a certain sequence. The thrust force acting on the piston becomes the force pushing the crankshaft through the connecting rod, thus driving the crankshaft to rotate and completing the work stroke. After the work stroke is completed, the piston moves from the bottom up, and the cylinder exhaust valve opens the exhaust to complete the exhaust stroke. Each stroke crankshaft rotates half a circle, and after several working cycles, the diesel unit gradually accelerates rotating work under the inertia of the flywheel.
